These terms apply to the Zx Scanner Android app (package name com.zx.scanner) and the optional Zx Premium subscription, provided by Zx Tech House, a sole proprietorship based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.

The app

Zx Scanner lets you scan, create, organise, edit and share PDF documents on your own device. The app works offline and does not require an account. The free version has limits (for example on the number of saved documents and pages per scan) that are shown in the app and on this website.

Your documents

Everything you scan, type or import belongs to you and stays on your device. We never receive your documents and have no way to access them. You are responsible for keeping backups: if you lose your phone, delete the app, or forget a password you set on a file or folder, we cannot recover your documents or passwords.

Zx Premium

• Price: ₹150 every 6 months, inclusive of tax, auto-renewing until cancelled.
• Sold through Google Play Billing. Google is the seller of record and processes the payment; we never receive or store your card or bank details.
• Delivery: Premium features unlock in the app as soon as Google confirms the purchase.
• Cancelling: any time, from Subscriptions in the Google Play Store app. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds: handled under Google Play's refund policy; see our refund and cancellation policy.
• If Premium ends, nothing is deleted. Your documents stay where they are; only the free-plan limits apply to new work.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for lawful purposes and only with documents you are entitled to copy. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its Premium features.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or suit every purpose, and we are not liable for loss of documents, data or profits arising from its use, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Indian law.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be shown on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

Governing law and contact
